I descend from three of A.S. Fry’s siblings: Christian Fry, Emily (Fry) Lucas, and Druzilla (Fry) Abbott. A.S. Fry’s son, George Fry, is a central character in my book, “Blood in West Virginia: Brumfield v. McCoy.”
This was my gggrandfather on my Mother’s side of the family. Thanks for publishing this letter.
Hi, Sherrie. So glad to meet you here on the blog. I’ve collected a lot of information about A.S. Fry and his children for many years now. They are not just my (extended) family: they were very important people in my community. Which one of his children is your ancestor: George F. Fry, William C. Fry, or Evermont Ward Fry? I’ll be sure to post more information about A.S. Fry’s family here on the blog especially for you.
