Thanks so much for making John’s manuscript available, and for your personal recollections of John. I have searched for every interview with John and was aware of the Haley book but could never find it and really never expected to find it. Thanks to you I did and I’ve been in read it several times and learned a lot about timing and rhythm. You write what I call Small History but I find it more real and true than most “big” history. I envy you for the time you got to spend with John. My search for John will continue…mostly within his music but your site was a very special find.
