My dad knew James P. (both of them) in Breaks !
I would very much enjoy learning more about that–I’ll call you tomorrow. Very exciting!
It has been some trying times these last couple of years. We all were sick at same time…unfortunately Dad had a stroke when the covid hit. He is recovering…still tough at 90 yrs old ! As you may already know, most CVA pts have more “short term” memory loss than long. So he can talk a blue streak about what happened 50-70 yrs ago. Many people fail to understand there were 2 James P. Mullins…and one census has them living almost next door to each other. I have profiles of both, in genealogy files. Enoch was sitting outside the store, when JP from W.V. came riding in to the Breaks. He started a whole new family. Dad and I always surmised that he must have been fleeing from Hatfields, but don’t know the complete story. I like the picture you took by Jim P’s grave. It was hard for us to get back there when we went a few years ago. Dad has some funny stories if you still want to talk. (We need to set up a good time.) Thanks…Sharon.
I would love to know more about him. Email me at brankirk@yahoo.com and let’s arrange a way to speak with your dad. I can call or drive to see him.
Yes, I’m very much interested in talking with him. Please email me and we can set up a way to talk or visit: brandonraykirk@yahoo.com
