Brandon, the Hager Cemetery that our stampers are buried in and Maggie Elkins is located off hwy 10 as you go north out of Chapmanville, Wva. you turn right on Dials drive and go to the end of dials drive and you have to go thru a gate, then it’s an uphill climb. Cemetery is in bad shape. Do you know any veterans groups or anyone that would go in an clean it up? Troy and Maggie and a baby they lost is located in the far back left of cemetery next to fence line according to my great uncles daughter and grdaughter (Trina) Trina says she goes up and puts flowers on lester’s and her mom and dad’s graves.
Mrs. Dial is my dad’s first cousin. I know the spot very well. We rely on our local people to maintain cemeteries. I do plenty of work on them. I don’t know of any civic groups that maintain them.
World gets smaller all the time! Send me your email and I will add you to our cousin page and if on facebook add me to your friends. Would love it.
