Hi, John! This semester of teaching has consumed all of my time. I promise I will see you very soon! (I’m not sure about the fate of the Native American remains.)
This is extremely interesting. Wonder what the significance of the encasement of the head and stone and facing east? I have read that facing east was an older Christian practice looking forward to the return of Christ due to the passage in Matthew 24 about Jesus returning from the east to the west, but it’s interesting to see Native Americans doing that.
