I can remember Bernie coming to the home of my uncle, George Thompson. And, he seemed to be drunk every time he would visit. Bernie lived up in Hoover, but can’t remember where. Do you know if he was a brother to Bob Adams? Bob was married to Garnet, which was one of the sweetest ladies, and always was a great cook. Uncle George love music and would often try to play the banjo. And I remember the beer garden that Earl run, think his younger brother was shot and killed inside or near the building. Thinking back, seem that fights occurred there every weekend.
