Here’s a photo of Billy Adkins, my genealogy mentor, at the old Jenks Thompson/Dave Thompson homestead. Jenks, great-grandfather to Billy, once lived at this site; later, Dave (son of Jenks, nicknamed “Cat Eye Dave”) lived here.
