My Ancestor was Thomas Godby who came to Virginia from England in mid 1600’s . Would T.S.Godby of be any connection.?
Hi, Brenda. I don’t know. If your Thomas Godby’s descendants settled in the Chapmanville area of Logan County, West Virginia, I would say so.
Thanks Brandon He was there.. Around a place called the Godby /Godbey Bluff. there was Thomas Godby Sr. and Junior and then another . Edward was my 8th grandfather .
