Yesterday, I re-visited the Hollena (Dingess) Brumfield grave in Harts, Lincoln County, WV. Hollena was the daughter of Henderson and Sarah (Adams) Dingess and the wife of Allen Brumfield.

I received the photos and letter you sent me last month regarding your dad. I can’t thank you enough. I always think of you when I visit his grave. I’ll send you a few things by mail. Take care. Thanks. I told my family recently that W.Va felt more like home than anyplace else in my life. Sounds silly, I guess. I have noticed some personality traits that must have been on my DNA from there. I was always different from my Mom’s side. They were fine people but I was just always “throwing caution to the wind'” and asking why ?? My first visit was like the missing chip from a Mosaic. I researched relocating around the border, like Roanoke or near tech. But the cost of living is much higher and no one wanted pets. It’s not a lost cause. It’s been over 12 years since I visited.you all…. never thought I’d be here so God can get me anywhere. He wants me. I go to Bible Study on Thursday evenings and occasionally Sat. nights. It’s about the size of Olsteens church. There is lots going on. I want to get more involved but my energy level is limited. Spring will be a good time to volunteer or join a group. I am so glad we got in touch. Keep up the good work. I will let you know when my book arrives. Be Blessed, hollena
