I do not know. 🙂 I wish she had kept a diary…and I wish I had it to read. Her life would have made a great movie.
Mariah is my GGGrandmother ,I have Blue eyes,her daughter Letillis or Tillie as they called her,is my GGrandmother she married Jay North Cochran,divorced him and later married Blackie Collins ,they are buried in Springfield Ferncliff cemetery. I have some pictures if you would like them ,as well as more of Mariah as well that were given to me
