I am happy to see this pic of my aunt Roxie & read about all she told you & that u got to meet her . My father talked of Ed Haley also . He had some music of his & also had a fiddle that had sumthing to do with Haley . Roxie was a great person & i loved to hear of her talk of my dad Willie Thompson when he was growing up .
Roxie was such an amazing lady. John absolutely loved meeting her. We actually recorded the interview with her in 1991. Did your dad have an album of Ed’s music? Also, what happened to the fiddle?
She was amazing ! She removed warts from my fingers by just rubbing her fingers over them & telling to forget about them couple wks later they were gone . My dad had a record of Ed’s & after he passed my uncle George Thompson asked my mother Betty ( Maynard ) Thompson gave it to him . Not sure what happened to it after that.
